My first job on a Tug, Aug 1996 we towed Dredgeco's cutter dredge the "Wombat" from Laguna Keys north of Mackay to Bing Bong creek in the Northern Territory. Various remote area construction jobs, pile driving, wharf building/demolition, dumb barge handling.

lift the avgas iso's straight of the deck onto the wharf. 

Lot of fun driving the derrick so many levers so little time.

Tug "Arjuna 2"

 

Tug "Arjuna 2" and the dumb barge "Skardon River" Sand & cement run to the Torres Straights. First tug I worked on with a tugger winch for hipping up.

Mother ship "Kestrel Bay"

Mother ship "kestrel Bay" did a relief trip on the east coast before it went round to the Gulf with thier regular engineer.
